Paul Pogba is making new headlines every day before the transfer window officially opens. In recent weeks, Pogba has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City and earlier today this rumor was backed by the trusted sources, Sky Sports and Guardian.
Two giants of the British media are growingly confident of a deal between Manchester City and Juventus in the summer which will see Paul Pogba join the Etihad stadium and in return Yaya Toure will be joining the Serie A champions.
Yaya Toure has widely expressed his desires of leaving City next season and Serie A would be an ideal fit for the Ivorian with its slow pace and less intensity. Pogba seems to be the missing link from City’s ever so sluggish midfield.
Pogba is an energetic player who loves to be creative on the ball and his strength helps him to make surging run in to the opponent’s half. Pogba is currently valued around £70million by Juventus. It is expected that 50million and Yaya Toure will be offered to the Serie A champions to let go off their star asset.
This would come as a major blow to the Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea, in particular Man United as Pogba was once their player whom they allowed to leave in 2012 and since his exit, he has gone on to become the best midfield player at his position. Now seeing him come back to the Premier League and that too play for City would make it very uncomfortable viewing for the United fans.
