The T20 format gives a very less margin for error for a bowler and this season’s IPL has shown that being a bowler can be really hard on some surfaces. However we have seen some exceptional bowling form some young and experienced players showing that the art of good bowling is still hard to get away.

Here is a list of the bowlers with highest percentage of dot balls delivered –

J Muthuswami

Not a very well known name, Muthuswami who plays for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL 2015 has not been a regular in the Delhi squad but has shown promise in the few chances that he has been given. Joseph has bowled a high 55.95% of his balls without conceding a run and tops the list with the highest % of dot balls.

Zaheer Khan

Showing that he still has a lot left in him, the old veteran who is still vying for a place in the national squad who acts as a player and also as a mentor this season for the Delhi Daredevils has bowled 52.08% of his over’s as dot balls and has given the opposition a hard time in any situation in the game.

I Pandey

Finding a regular spot in the most consistent team of the IPL, Ishwar Pandey looks to have got his captains blessings on him. Having played a lot of games this season for the Chennai Super Kings, Pandey has bowled very well in some games and has a dot ball percentage of 51.79 and is third in the list.

S Binny

The canny operator form the Rajasthan Royals, Stuart Binny has a silent look about him but is a very effective player when he comes onto the field. Binny who has become a main stay for the Royals for more than an year now has bowled 50.98% of dot balls in this season’s IPL and looks a good prospect for team India in the future.

M Morkel

The only overseas player in the list, Morne Morkel who plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders has been in good form for the defending champions and has always proved tough to get away in any over of the game. The tall quickie from South Africa has bowled 50.83% of dot balls this year and is fifth in the list.

These stats are taken upto the match between RCB and KIXP on the 13th of May.
