India opener Rohit Sharma has sent birthday wishes to his teammate Manish Pandey in his unique way.
The Karnataka player turned 28 on Sunday and is set to become a vital cog in Indian middle-order in the coming days. He is tipped to be the successor of Yuvraj Singh at the No. 4 position after KL Rahul’s misery in the middle-order of late.
Manish Pandey had a wonderful Sri Lanka tour, as he made the most of the opportunities he got and was selected to the series against Australia, earlier on Sunday. Having played plenty of cricket at domestic level and for India A team, many believe that Pandey could be the future of Indian cricket in the middle order which is looking very vulnerable, bar MS Dhoni.
Rohit has called Manish Pandey as Chulbul Pandey (Name of Salman Khan’s character in Dabangg) and wished him a lot of success with Team India in the coming days.

Manish Pandey is keen to play a couple of games in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) this week to prepare well for the series against Australia that will begin next Sunday. Manish Pandey will need to play with more consistency in the upcoming series to consolidate his position in the middle order for 2019 World Cup.
On the other hand, Rohit Sharma is enjoying a sensational season playing for India in ODIs, as he is one of the leading run scorers in the format around the world this year.
