Team India skipper Virat Kohli has been going on a record breaking spree in limited overs cricket, and very recently he became the fastest to reach 30 ODI centuries and is also 2nd in the list of most centuries just behind his idol Sachin Tendulkar who have smashed 49 ODI centuries. Despite his bat doing the talking, Kohli has always been in the news due to his temperament and it

Despite his bat doing the talking, Kohli has always been in the news due to his temperament, and it has been questioned by all and sundry ever since he started his career. Kohli had mentioned earlier too that he doesn’t mind getting into verbal volleys with opposition players as it brings the best in him.

While he is receiving praises from all quarters, Kohli was targeted by an Australian journalist who mocked Kohli ahead of the 2nd T20I featuring World XI and Pakistan on Tuesday. Taking to his twitter handle, Dennis posted a picture of Kohli holding a broom and cleaning a cricket stadium (which was part of their campaign for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan last year) with a caption “Sweepers clean the stadium in readiness for the World XI match”.

It was definitely a rubbish statement made by Dennis which didn’t go down well with his Kohli’s fans and supporters. One of Kohli’s fans tweeted, “U know hw much is earning of @imVkohli dat he can purchase this stadium n keep u sweeper over there n also pay u more dan ur current package.”

Meanwhile, it must be noted here that it is not the first time that the Australian media has targeted Kohli.

Earlier in the year when the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was held in India, Australian media even went to the extent of calling Kohli the Donald Trump of Cricket. It is a known fact that Kohli is always charged up and after this sort of statement, he would definitely like to come all guns blazing once the limited overs series against Australia starts from 17th September.
