As per the latest reports, Manchester United are ready to break British transfer record to sign their former player and Juventus star midfielder Paul Pogba. The 22-year old have moved to Juventus from Manchester United as a free agent in 2013 and then become the world’s best player in his position over the last two seasons with the Italian giants.
Reports suggest that the French international will move away from Turin this summer and has alerted the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG.
The Red Devils are ready to launch a bid of £60.6m to secure the services of the Frenchman and will have to offer high wages to wave off interest from other clubs. The addition of Pogba would provide the right balance between attack and defense for the Red Devils.
Reports also suggest that Pogba’s deal is part of the £100m transfer budget that Manchester United will spend this summer as they are ready for yet another blockbuster summer spree. The signing of Paul Pogba would be key to Manchester United success next season as they look to be successful both in England and Europe.
