“Where there is love, there is life !”

“The Nawab of Najafgrah” was part of the Hindi commentary panel during the India-Australia Test series earlier in the year, and has returned for yet another stint as the Aussies are busy playing a limited-overs series here.

Due to his popularity on Twitter, he was also given the name “Twitter King”, and his tweets created a sensation more often than not. He tends to wish all famous personalities on their birthdays in his unique style, and most of his birthday tweets have created a buzz everywhere.

It was Sehwag who changed the definition of opening batting in Test cricket. In the 104 Tests he had played for India, Sehwag had amassed 8586 runs at an impressive average if 49.34 and is only the 3rd batsman in the world to boast of triple centuries in Test cricket. He also became the 2nd player in the history of the game after Sachin Tendulkar to notch up an ODI double hundred.

Sehwag has also played 251 ODI’s for the national team and has scored 8287 runs at an average of 35.05. In the longest format of the game, Sehwag has smashed 23 centuries and 32 half-centuries while in the ODI format, Sehwag has smashed 15 centuries and 38 fifties in his illustrious career. He is one of the very few cricketers who boasts of a strike rate over 100 in both ODI’s and T20I’s.
