As per the latest reports, Premier League Champions Chelsea are all clear to sign Shakthar Donetsk star forward Douglas Costa. The 24-year old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for the last few months.
Chelsea has been scouting the forward for the last two seasons and are impressed with the player’s skills. The Blues are ready to offer £20 million to Shakthar Donetsk for the player.
The 24-year old has a great potential and was expected to move to a bigger club this summer. The Brazilian has confirmed he wants to move this summer and play for Jose Mourinho.
He said, “Eventually the time comes when you get tired of playing always in the same league.
“I’m 24 years old and it is worth trying to tell people that I want to go. We have a wonderful coach in Mircea Lucescu, but I think it’s time for a change and I think Mourinho is the best in the world.”
The player is looking for a club which offers him Champions League football and preferably Chelsea as he is a huge fan of Jose Mourinho.
