Well every cricket loving fan was expecting a pretty smooth sailing by the Team India, led by Virat Kohli during the only Test match that began today against Bangladesh at Fatuullah but very few were really expecting that out of form Indian opener Shikher Dhawan will give such a scintillating performance.

He has already scored 150 runs and is still at the crease at the end of Day 1, whereas another Indian opener, Murali Vijay was seen giving full support to Shikhar Dhawan by scoring 89 runs and he will also continue playing tomorrow.

The match got a little interrupted due to rain but once Indian openers started hitting the ball all around the ground, there was no looking back. Both of them played with a lot of confidence without any pressure and the Bangladesh bowlers could not really do anything to stop them. The score remained 239 for no loss for Team India at the close of the day but the happy news is that the partnership between Vijay and Dhawan has already become a record Test opening partnership by the Indian openers against Bangladesh.

In his 150 runs out of 158 balls Dhawan has scored 21 boundaries whereas Murali Vijay in his 89 of 178 balls has scored a six and 8 boundaries. Under the given comfortable equation for Team India who had not lost a single test against Bangladesh, It is expected that Team India might achieve few new landmarks during the next few days. It appears that this tour might prove a big hit for Virat Kohli and company.
