The Ben Stokes Saga

The Sun released the video of the brawl in which Ben Stokes was involved. Ben Stoke can be seen attacking the other person. The reason for the fight has not been revealed yet. In a statement, ECB said that Stokes was “fragile and devastated” after the bar brawl.

Ben Stokes in a statement stated that he attacked the 27-year-old man to defend two gay guys in the bar and said, “The guy had a bottle in his hand & was threatening us, was I supposed to wait until he smashed it in my face?”

West Indies Tour of England 4th ODI, the Oval

England won the fourth ODI against West Indies by six runs via D/L method. West Indies scored 356/6 in 50 overs, thanks to a brilliant 176 runs innings by Evin Lewis. Moeen Ali smashed a quick-fire 25-ball 48 to guide England to victory as the rain stopped play.

Duleep Trophy Final

India blue have been set a target of 393 runs by India red. Prithvi Shaw who scored a century in the first innings was run out for 31 runs. Baba Indrajit scored solid 59 run innings taking India Red to 299. India Blue is currently 86/2 with Suresh Raina and Manoj Tiwary at the crease.

India vs Australia 4th ODI, Bengaluru

Australia won the toss and chose to bat first in the fourth ODI against India. Australia made two changes dropping Glenn Maxwell and Ashton Agar and picking up Matthew Wade and Adam Zampa. India made three changes. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav were replaced by Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Axar Patel.

UCL 2017: CSKA Moscow vs Manchester United (Group Stage)

Manchester United 4-1 thrashed CSKA Moscow at their home. Romelu Lukaku scored a brace for United. Anthony Martial scored a penalty in the first half, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan also added one to his tally.

UCL 2017: PSG vs Bayern Munich (Group Stage)

PSG produced an absolute masterclass against the German champions Bayern Munich and won the match 3-0. Dani Alves, Edison Cavani and Neymar scored for the French Champions.

UCL 2017: Athletico Madrid vs Chelsea (Group Stage)

Chelsea got the better of Athletico Madrid in a thriller as Batshuyai scored the winner in the 94th minute to win the match for Chelsea 2-1. Antoine Griezemann opened the scoring for Athletico. Alvaro Morata pulled one back for English Champions before Batshuyai netted the winner.

UCL 2017: Sporting vs Barcelona (Group Stage)

Barcelona managed to hold onto a 1-0 lead which the Spanish team got through an own goal from a Lionel Messi free kick. Barcelona had an average match and will be looking for an improvement in the next game.

UEFA Europa League 2017: BATE vs Arsenal (Group Stage)

Arsenal will travel to Belarus to face BATE for their second group stage match in the Europa League. Arsenal has dropped Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Lacazette for the game against BATE.
