Liverpool have been very active during the ongoing transfer window to build a strong squad ahead of next season. The Reds have completed their third signing of the season by agreeing a free transfer for Bolton Wanderers out-of-contract goal keeper Adam Bogdan.
The 27-years-old goal keeper was set to be out of contract from July 1 after rejecting a fresh deal with Bolton. However, Liverpool have moved quickly and agreed personal terms for Bogdan to make his Anfield switch in the summer.
Bogdan is set to become Liverpool’s third transfer of the season after James Milner and Danny Ings also agreeing personal terms ahead of their proposed move to Anfield.
As per reports, Brendan Rodgers had decided to sign Bogdan after the FA Cup Fourth Round match between Liverpool and Bolton where the goal keeper was named man of the match.
Rodgers was very impressed by the Hungarian goal keeper and now has brought at the club to rival Simon Mignolet for the number one goal keeper at Liverpool.
Liverpool released Brad Jones earlier in the week leaving the place vacant for a new goal keeper to sign for the reds. Bogdan is currently away on international duty with Hungary preparing for European Championship qualifier in Finland.
It is expected that, the player will undergo is medical during his International commitments and will make his permanent switch to Anfield after July 1.
