As per the latest reports, Manchester United are lining up a summer bid for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak. The 22-year old has been in fine form for the sapnish giants and have reportedly drawn interest from Manchester United.
The Red Devils are currently looking to replace their star goalkeeper David de Gea who is expected to leave Old Trafford to join Real Madrid this summer. The 24-year old have not yet confirmed his exit but Manchester United are already busy in finding a replacement for him.
Earlier reports suggested that manchester United are looking to sign proved Premier League goalkeepers Petr Cech or Hugo Lloris to replace the Spaniard. However spanish newspapers are claiming that te Red Devils are keen to sign the 22-year old Slovenian.
Oblak has been in fine form this season as he replaced Thibaut Courtois who has been sensational in the previous season. The Slovenian have managed to show his skills as he managed 8 clean sheets in 11 starts for Atlerico Madrid in Spanish League.
The player also managed 21 saves in the league making him one of the best keepers in the league this season. The player has emerged as Atletico Madrid’s No.1 this season and the Madrid giants would be reluctant to sell the player. However, Manchester United can lure any player they want due to their financial muscle.
