'Impressed' Shane Warne Predicts A Successful Future For Kuldeep Yadav 1

Kuldeep Yadav, the left arm wrist spinner, is slowly expanding his fan base among critics and experts of the game. He has been performing consistently ever since making his debut against Australia last year in the 4th Test at Dharamsala and, as of now, his performance graph only seems to be going upwards.

After entering the international arena with the Test format, Kuldeep quickly made an impact in the limited overs version of the game as well. His loopy, hard-spun leg breaks and useful googlies have made life tough for the some of the best names in the game and earned him an excellent reputation of being a possible leading spinner in the world.

Some of his admirers, so far, have been Gautam Gambhir, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli Ravi Shastri. But, today, the 22-year-old managed to gain the attention of someone whom the entire cricketing world recognises as the “best leg spinner to have ever played the game” – Shane Warne.

The Australian legend, post-retirement, has turned into a keen follower of young spinners around the world. It takes a display of a lot of talent and the spark to impress the “Spin King.” And, thus far, in his eyes, he has only found Pakistan’s leading leggie – Yasir Shah – as someone who could become a spin bowling ace.

But, it seems Kuldeep Yadav, with his performance in the ongoing series against Australia, has managed to earn the admiration of Warne.

The 48-year-old took to Twitter to express his approval of Kuldeep’s talent.

Here is what he tweeted:

Kuldeep was rested for the fourth ODI after picking up seven wickets in the first three ODIs. However, he was chosen to play in the ongoing final ODI where he finished with figures of 0/48 helping India restrict Australia finished for 242/9.
