Indian cricketers without a doubt are the most followed celebrities in the country and why will they not be, they earn this fame by working hard throughout the year. Indian cricket’s schedule is packed the entire year with series one after the other. Even if there is a small break between series, the players are busy shooting for commercials or some other events.

The Indian team has a mini-break right now as the three-match T20 series is scheduled to begin from 7th September and according to some reports, Virat Kohli will shoot for a chat show with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for Diwali. The shoot will take place on Tuesday as Aamir will take a break from promoting his upcoming movie “Secret Super Star”. A spokesperson of the film said:

“This would be the first time that Aamir Khan and Virat Kohli will share a platform together.”

India defeated Australia 4-1 in the recently concluded five-match ODI series. With this series win, Virat Kohli and his men climbed to the top of the ICC ODI rankings overtaking the South African team. These are good times for Indian cricket and cricketers. With so much of cricket being played in India, the team is taking full advantage of it. Kohli leads the table as the number one batsman in the world.

Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century in the final ODI and finished the series as the top scorer. This performance took him to his career-best fifth place in the ICC ODI Rankings. Axar Patel also jumped to his career best ranking. He is now the seventh best bowler in the world.

The Indian team will be looking forward to winning the three-match T20 series and continue their winning run.
