Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2017, First Test, Abu Dhabi
Sri Lanka won the first Test against Pakistan by 21 runs at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi. In a thrilling match, Rangana Herath picked up six wickets in the second innings to spin the game in Sri Lanka’s favour. In the process, Lanka’s Herath became the first left-arm spinner to pick up 400 Test wickets and 13th bowler overall to achieve the feat. This was the lowest total Sri Lanka has ever defended in Test matches.
India A vs New Zealand A, Unofficial Test, Vijaywada
The spin duo of Karn Sharma and Shabaz Nadeem spun India A to victory against New Zealand A in the 2nd unofficial Test match in Vijaywada. Karn Sharma took his third five-wicket haul in four games and finished the match with eight wickets. India A won the match by an innings and 26 runs. India A took the two match series 2-0. Henry Nicolls was the top scorer with 94 for New Zealand.
Mitchell Starc to Return after Injury Lay Off
Australia’s pace spearheads is set make a competitive comeback when he’ll play for New South Wales against Southern Australia in a One Day Match on Friday. Starc has been out of action due to a foot injury since the Champions Trophy in June.

South Africa vs Bangladesh 2017
Morne Morkel has been ruled out for four to six weeks as after sustaining a side strain. According to scan reports, Morkel has suffered a grade two tear of the left abdominal oblique muscle. Morkel will miss the entire series against Bangladesh. Wayne Parnell might get a chance to play in the next match. Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Chris Morris are also out of the squad due to injuries.
