The much anticipated one day international series between India and Bangladesh is all set to begin from june 18th at Dhaka, Bangladesh. After the Test match ended in a draw due to continuous rain both the teams would be raring to go in the ODI series.

The last time when India played a ODI series in Bangladesh it wasn’t a full fledged strong squad but India managed to win that series comfortably 2-0 under Raina’s captaincy. Recently these two teams met in the quarter finals of the world cup in which India got the better of Bangladesh once again. Bangladesh ODI team has grown in stature in recent times by playing very brave cricket which was evident in the Cricket World cup 2015.

While Bangladesh cricket is trying hard to compete against top teams India have sent their strong squad, which promises to be an exciting ODI series. Even though India possess a strong squad and are considered to be heavy favourites in the upcoming ODI series they cant take Bangladesh lightly, as they are a completely different unit now. India will face a completely different and a strong Bangladesh side this time around than the previous occasions which failed to trouble the top teams. Yes, India are the heavy favourites to start off the series but Bangladesh are the dark horse in the upcoming ODI series.

Pitch Report: The Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium will sport a perfect deck for the batsmen to pile on the runs and the defending team will have issues with dew under the floodlights. So the capain winning the toss will have no hesitation in batting first.
