Former IPL chief Lalit Modi has allegedly named three players who have involved in fixing IPL matches. Lalit Modi named Indian Internationals Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja along with Dwayne Bravo of the West Indies. He also stated that these players had received bribes from an Indian bookmaker, who is also a real estate tycoon – Baba Diwan. According to Modi, Diwan had given the players flats in addition to the monetary benefits.

Raina, Jadeja and Bravo all play in the IPL for Chennai Super Kings,  a franchise who are desperately trying to rid themselves of the taint of corruption regarding the conflict of interest issue related to former owner N Srinivasan. London-based Modi tweeted a letter he claims to have written to International Cricket Council (ICC) CEO Dave Richardson in June 2013, passing on “some information that I have just got.

Modi also tweeted that the likes of BCCI, Anurag Thakur and India Cements are trying to deceive the public in matters related to betting. He also claimed that 9,000-10,000 crore per game was the money being bet on the cash-rich Twenty20 league. These details were revealed in a letter written by Modi to ICC CEO Richardson.
