Pakistan leg-spinner Shadab Khan who has made a name for himself especially in the limited overs format was apparently flirting with a girl from Lahore who shared the conversation between the two on his twitter handle asking other Twitter users whether the account from where the request was sent was the original Shadab Khan from Pakistan. It looks the original one as it is a verified account but maybe didn’t realise that this girl will go on to share their conversation on her twitter handle.
The conversation started a girl named Aleena accepted the friend request sent to her by Shadab Khan on Twitter. It was Shadab who wrote “Assalamoalikum”- a word used by Muslims to greet each other. After both exchanged pleasantries, Aleena asked Shadab how is he doing to which he replied nothing. Again it was evident that the Pakistanis have to improve English as the answer wasn’t meant for that particular question.
Then Shadab asked the girl where is she from to which the girl said she resides in Lahore. To everyone’s surprise, the next question asked by Shadab was if the girl was involved in any relationship. The girl was taken aback and asked why was he even asking these questions. She revealed about having a boyfriend. Shadab even asked her whether the profile picture in her account was her real picture.
In the meantime, the girl tried to shift the focus of the conversation and asked when is the final match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the ODI series. Shadab replied by saying tomorrow, and it was evident that after the girl’s earlier message, he wasn’t interested in continuing the conversation. While Shadab wanted to flirt with her, Aleena wanted to talk with him as a fan’s point of view.
The girl ended the conversation by congratulating him on picking the important wicket of Yuvraj Singh in the final of the Champions Trophy. It was indeed an important wicket in Shadab’s career which also helped Pakistan win the tournament for the first time in their history.
