Team India had already missed the practice session yesterday (October 27) as the members decided to take rest. It means that all these players will be going into the decider without knowing about the conditions.
Axar Patel was also one of the players to miss the session, which also indicates that Kuldeep Yadav might come in playing XI at his home ground. After warming the bench in first ODI at Wankhede stadium, Axar came in for Kuldeep for second ODI but did not bowl well. He went for 54 runs for his one wicket.

Surely, Kuldeep would be vying to come back in the playing XI especially at his home ground.

Meanwhile, New Zealand team underwent a practice session in the morning. They also missed the practice session yesterday but attended the session today, before going into the last ODI of the series.
The third and the final ODI of the series will be played at Green Park in Kanpur. The game was shifted here from Ekana stadium in Lucknow earlier. At present, both the teams stand at equal rank with a win each in two ODIs.
It would be a big upset for India if New Zealand will be able to stun the hosts. New Zealand are expected to go with an unchanged squad for the third time in the series, despite losing the previous game.
On the other hand, India might have one change. Kuldeep Yadav might walk in to replace Axar Patel.
It was in 2015 when India played an ODI here in Green Park. Kagiso Rabada prevented 11 runs in the final over and dismissed MS Dhoni – the former Indian captain – to seal a great win.

India came back here in 2016 and played a Test against New Zealand which the home side won by 197 runs. It was the first Test of team India’s long home season, which kicked off last season and ended in March in Dharamsala.
