Liverpool fans have been treated to an incredible summer of transfers so far as Brendan Rodgers has completed 6 summer signing already. Among those transfers, perhaps the most important one is that of former Manchester City layer James Milner.

Upon his unvelieing at the club, Milner was asked to share how he is feeling to be a part of Liverpool’s squad. In his own methodical way, Milner replied: “I’m just ready to get started I suppose.
“It’s great to be here; over the summer you’re thinking about it and wanting to get going once the decision has been made so it’s great to come here.”
Milner also shared his relief of knowing quite a few players in Liverpool’s dressing room as he shared h0w it is never easy to walk in to a new dressing room.
Liverpool will be Milner’s fourth Premier League club following Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Manchester City.
The 29-year old is certain to bring a much needed experience to Liverpool’s midfield with Steven Gerrard’s departure from the club.
According to club’s sources. Milner has been given the Number 7 jersey at Anfield which previously belonged to Luis Suarez.
With Milner’s presence, Liverpool are more likely to go in with 3 men midfield with Milner partnering Jordan Henderson and Phillip Coutinho.
