The Indian board has confirmed the tour of Sri Lanka starting from August 6. The Indian team will play a warm up match up on August 6 to 8. The series will be shown live on Sony Six as this will be final Test series for Kumar Sangakara.
The first Test will be played at Galle from 12th August to 16th. The second one will be played at P Sara Oval Colombo from 20th to 24th August and the final match has been shifted from Kandy to SSC Colombo and it will take place from 28th August to 1st September.
Both of boards agreed with mutual consent as Sri Lanka toured India for five matches One day International series. Indian board agreed to tour Sri Lanka and it will be an interesting series as Sri Lankan team would love to give legend a great farewell.
Sri Lanka lost the One day International series 0-5. Sri Lanka struggled in the last Test match against Pakistan without Mahela Jaywarnde and Kumar Sangakara. It will be interesting to see how a team in transformation play against India who themselves had a tourgh past 12 months in Test cricket.

1. Warm Up Match- Indians vs Sri Lankan Warm Up XI at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
2. First Test: India vs Sri Lanka: 12th August to 16th August at Galle
3. Second Test: India vs Sri Lanka: 20th August to 24th August at P Sara, Colombo
4. Third Test: India vs Sri Lanka: 28th August to 1st September at SSC, Colombo.
