English Champions Chelsea are set to be completing the signing of another promising young talent from Brazil as Fluminense striker Kenedy is reported to be in London for a medical at Chelsea F.C.

He would be the 8th Brazilian star at the club should the 19-year-old clear his medical at Stamford Bridge medical as per expected results.

Among the 8 Brazilians in the ranks, Ramires was the 1st among the Brazilian lot to join the bunch and arrive at the west London side. He joined from Portuguese club Benfica in the month of August in 2010, signing a 4-year deal when Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm.

Lucas Piazon was the next to sign for Chelsea from Sao Paolo followed by Attacking star Oscar who joined from in July 2012 for a fee of £25million from Internacional, two months after the club won the Champions League.

 

Wallace was next to be added to the list for £5million but he joined Inter Milan and Vitesse on loan and is yet to play a game for Chelsea.

The Blues beat Liverpool and Tottenham to the signature of Willian before the 2013-14 season, with the midfield man joining on a five-year contract for a fee of £30million from Anzhi in Russia.

Filipe Luis and Striker Diego Costa joined in last year from then Spanish champions Atletico Madrid making it 6. 19-year-old midfielder Nathan has since joined from Atletico Paranaense and put pen to paper on a long-term contract at Chelsea and with with Kenedy’s arrival imminent, Chelsea’s Brazil contingent is set to rise to eight.
