Europa League winners Sevilla have contacted Manchester United over a possibility of signing the out-of-favor striker Javier Hernandez.
Sevilla recently sold their star striker Carlos Bacca to AC Milan in a £21million deal and now are looking for apt replacements.
While there have been other names linked with a move to Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán it seems Javier Hernandez would eventually be the man to replace Bacca.
Hernandez spent last season on loan at la Liga giants Real Madrid and caught the eye of many teams and now Sevilla have come back for the striker to make a move to La Liga.
Sevilla look promising ahead of the next season after their manager Unai Emery signed a year’s extension with the club and will remain in charge until 2017 campaign.
Emery’s next job is to build a squad worth competing with the likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona to end on the top end of the League table. According to reports, a 8million move for Javier Hernandez seems the ideal way to start things.
Hernandez is certain to leave Old Trafford in the summer after Louis Van Gaal is certain to cut the player from his squad. After cutting Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie from his squad, Hernandez will be the next striker to suffer Van Gaal’s wrath as he continues to find the able partner for Wayne Rooney.
Hernandez is currently on the sidelines nursing a shoulder injury which is expected to keep him out for at least a month.
