After a Resounding victory against the hosts Bangladesh South Africa would be looking to wrap up the series tomorrow. However, for Bangladesh they would like to level the series and get on board.

During the first ODI match Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first and their batting  failed miserably as the debutant Kagiso Rabada destroyed the Bangladesh batting line up by picking up 6 wickets for 16 runs. Shakib Al Hassan was the lone warrior as he was the highest scorer for Bangladesh by scoring 48 runs. South Africa chased down the total quite comfortably by chasing it in 31.1 overs. Bangladesh were quite dominating against Pakistan and India as they clinched the series against both the teams and created history. However, Bangladesh wasn’t put in pressure situations as much as one would have expected.

Batting should click for Bangladesh in the second ODI as their Star batters failed miserably to put runs on the board. Bangladesh have been highly reliant on their batting to put some big runs in the board and later defend it with their bowlers. In the recent times Bangladesh was able to challenge the oppositions with their bowling. However, for Bangladesh they have to step up to the occasion both with their bowling and batting to challenge the strong South African side in the second ODI. One cannot simply right off the current Bangladesh side very easily as they now have the faith of beating any bigger teams.

South Africa would go in as the clear favourites to win clinch the series but Bangladesh are very strong at home off late registering 10 consecutive wins with the only loss coming against the South Africans.
