This transfer window has been an eventful one till now. We have seen some major transfers taking place like Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United, Raheem Sterling to Manchester City, Arda Turan to FC Barcelona, Iker Casillas to Porto.

The transfer window is still wide open with around 50 days remaining and many more major transfers are likely to take place in these remaining days.

We are making a list of five potential major transfers that are likely to happen in this transfer window sooner or later.

Angel Di Maria to PSG

The Argentine winger arrived to Manchester United on a British record fee of £59.7 million from Real Madrid only last season. He started his Old Trafford career on a high but his game declined massively after few games after suffering back to back injuries. He found himself on the sidelines even after becoming fit with the manager Louis Van Gaal preferring Ashley Young over him on the wing. Louis Van Gaal prefers a controlled style of play which does not suit the Di Maria who likes to trouble opponents with his direct running and dribbling skills. Paris Saint-Germain wanted the Argentine winger last summer also but Financial Fair Play Restrictions on them prevented them from buying the superstar. Now after the restrictions have been lifted they are again back to capture the winger. PSG manager Laurent Blanc stated about interest in the Manchester United number 7 also and it seems that Di Maria’s move to Parc des Princes is imminent.
