With the tour of India done and dusted earlier this week, New Zealand star Ross Taylor finally revealed the answer to the question that had baffled one and all. The veteran batsman, in his goodbye message, revealed the two persons who had assisted him in posting hilarious tweets in Hindi that had left everyone in splits.
It all began when former India opener Virender Sehwag, hailed by many as Twitter king, posted a tweet in praise of Taylor after the latter’s 95-run knock in the first ODI against India. Sehwag in his witty manner called the Kiwi star ‘darji’ (Hindi for tailor) and tweeted: “Well played @RossLTaylor Darji ji . Great effort after handling the pressure of Diwali orders.”

In reply, Taylor had hilariously replied:
Thanks @virendersehwag bhai agli Baar Apna order time pe Bhej dena so Mai Apko agli Diwali ke pehle deliver kardunga ….happy Diwali

The duo had then gone on to extend their banter on Twitter at the end; a highly impressed Sehwag expressed his surprise over Taylor’s Hindi and had gone on to ask the Unique Identification Authority Of India (UIDAI) to inquire whether Taylor could be granted an Aadhaar card on the back of his impeccable Hindi.
Highly impressed by you @RossLTaylor . @UIDAI , can he be eligible for an Aadhaar Card for such wonderful Hindi skills. https://t.co/zm3YXJdhk2

Well, Taylor has now lifted the lid on the secret of who was helping him to post the tweets written in Hindi. The 33-year old took to Instagram to reveal that his teammate Ish Sodhi and staff member Dev were the masterminds behind the tweets.
“As always India it was a pleasure. FYI – the two responsible for helping me with banter with @virendersehwag are here in this photo, thanks, Dev and @ic3_odi, signing off with one last message: Dhullai aur Silaai Anne waale samay mein jaari rahegi ☺️#India #indvnz #Mumbai #darji,” Taylor wrote on Instagram.
