India Vs Sri Lanka 2017, First Test, Kolkata

India was bowled out for 172 in the first innings courtesy a four-wicket haul by Suranga Lakmal. The third day was the first day of the Test match when there was no rain but the day ended with bad light stopping play. Cheteshwar Pujara was the highest scorer for the Indian team as he scored 52 runs but was dismissed early on day three. Sri Lanka finished day three, seven runs behind India’s total. Thirimanne and Angelo Matthews scored impressive fifties but fell just after crossing the milestone. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav picked up two wickets each.

Arsenal will host their neighbours Tottenham Hotspur for the first North London Derby of the season. Looking at both the teams’ recent form, Spurs are the favourites going into the derby.
