BPL 2017: Sylhet Sixers Signs Up Sohail Tanvir for the Remainder of the Tournament 1

In a desperate attempt to arrest their downward slide in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League, Sylhet Sixers have secured the services of Pakistan fast-bowler Sohail Tanvir.

The Sixers had begun the proceedings of the tournament finely by winning their first three games. However, things have gone from bad to worse thereafter. As the tournament progressed, they failed to sustain the winning momentum, as, after three consecutive wins, the slumped to even once so far.

Since their third and last win, they lost five out of six games while one match was abandoned due to rain. As a result, they are now languishing fifth in the points table after being on the top in the initial stages.

So far, he has represented Pakistan in 57 T20 Internationals, picking up 54 wickets.
