Real Madrid’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has once again ignited controversy when he publicly spoke ill about football’s highest governing body.

The Portuguese superstar was on a sponsorship tour with Nike.He was present to promote the brand when an emminent journalist Andres Oppenheimer had the gall to ask Ronaldo his opinion on the scandal that has engulfed football’s world organising body. Ronaldo seemed annoyed at the question and he replied that he does not care about the governing body. He also used derogatory terms to define FIFA.

CNN en Español quoted Ronaldo: “Speak about FIFA? I don’t care about FIFA and Qatar. I don’t give a f—. You want me to speak about product or FIFA? Come on.” 

 

The winger became angry and then he got up and left the place.

 

A controversy will happen after this and the superstar mat face strict action against him for speaking ill about the highest authority. Previously several other players have given their piece of mind to FIFA most famous name being Diego Maradona. He shares a very bad relationship with FIFA.

Cristiano Ronaldo had previously mocked FIFA President Sepp Blatter on field. Blatter had termed Lionel Messi as a ‘good boy’ and called Ronaldo a commander. The very next Ronaldo scored a goal in La Liga against Espanyol and celebrated like an army commander.
