As per the latest report from Daily Telegraph, Liverpool are ready to launch a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Denis Cheryshev. The 24-year old have spent last season on loan at Villareal and made 26 appearences for their club.

The Russian is apparently very frustrated with his role at the club as their main forward line contains Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema and James Rodriguez. Cheryshev plays as a left winger but apparently Cristiano Ronaldo plays at his position.

The player is unsure of his future at Bernabeu and is looking for a move away from Real Madrid. The Russian have drawn interest from Arsenal besides Liverpool.

The Reds are keen to seal the deal as they want to replace departed Raheem Sterling in their wings and Liverpool could include a buy-back clause for the player inorder to push the deal.

Cheryshev has admitted that he is unsure of his future with Los Blancos, but a move to Anfield would provide him much-needed playing time.

He said: “I have no idea as to what is going to happen. I’ve spoken to Marcelino and he confirmed that Villarreal hope to have my services next season but that’s all.”

“I don’t know where I’ll be next season.”

Rafa Benetiz is yet to make a decision on Cheryshev’s future and the decision could be made this week with Liverpool pushing for the deal to happen.
