Tendulkar’s latest gesture towards one of his young fans is enough to prove how humble the legendary batsman is despite achieving so much on a cricket field. On Friday (December 1), the former India batsman cricketer took to Twitter to post a letter written by a boy named Shubham Chodankar.
Confessing his love for the most decorated batsman of all time, the fan called himself a devotee of the cricketer and also lauded his humbleness and politeness.
“Dear Sachin Sir, My name is Shubham Chodankar. Sir I am a very very big fan of yours or I can say a very big devotee of yours. You are my inspiration, role model, my guru, my everything sir. I admire you the most. Sir I also want to become a successful cricketer like you but before that I want to become a humble & polite person just like you,” the boy wrote.
In reply, Sachin wrote a motivational message for the youngster, advising him to work hard and make everyone proud.
