India A crushes South Africa A in the 3rd match to register their first win of tri-series at MA Chidarbram Stadium, Chennai just few moments ago. It was a dominating performance by India A who restricted South Africa to 245 and batted well to reach the target with ease.
Chasing a target of 245 runs Mayank Aggarwal and Unmkut Chand started on a cautious note as both them took scored 2 runs off first few overs. Both of them attacked the fast bowlers and did not allow them to settle. Mayank Aggarwal and Unmukt Chand completed 50. Mayank Aggarwal and Chand scored with ease and shared a 219 runs first wicket partnership. Unmukt Chand was dismissed for 90. Mayank Aggarwal completed his century and was dismissed 2 runs before the target at the score of 130. India reached the target of 245 in 37.4 overs and gained a bonus point. India won the match by 8 wickets with 12.2 overs to spare.
South Africa A won the toss and elected to bat. South Africa got off to a worst start losing Hendricks for just 1. De Bryun and Elgar were dismissed for low scores with 5 each. South Africa A were struggling at 44 for 3 in 16 over’s. Ramela and Quinton De Kock put up 48 4th wicket stand. At the end of 28 over South Africa scored 92 for 4. Vilas and Quniton De Kock steadied the innings and build up 100 runs partnership. Vilas completed his half century and was dismissed soon after. Quntion De Kock completed his century too.
