Nick Kyrgios the talented Tennis Star from Australia is often criticised for his cocky behaviour on court. At this very young age he has defeated Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal which everyone dream of. Recently, Kyrgios crossed his limits by using some inflammatory statement against the 2015 French Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka in the ongoing Rogers Cup. Kyrgios emerged as the winner as Wawrinka retired from the match due to back injury.
After the match Kyrgios was asked to comment about his actions, and he seemd to be caught off guard. “He was getting a bit lippy with me,” was Kyrgios’ explanation. “I just said it.”
Kyrgios words has been captured on the microphone and this is what he said to his opponent:
People bashed the young Aussie attitude on twitter and Wawrinka has responded to Kyrgios ugly attitude as well.
So disappointing to see a fellow athlete and colleague be so disrespectful in a way I could never even imagine.

What was said I wouldn’t say to my worst enemy. To stop so low is not only unacceptable but also beyond belief.

There is no need for this kind of behaviour on or off the court and I hope the governing body of this sport does not stand…

… for this and stands up for the integrity of this sport that we have worked so hard to build.
