India ended day 2 of the first test against Sri Lanka in a commanding position. The game now stands at a possibility of being wrapped up just on the third day itself. For India, it was the dynamic duo of Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan, who scored the bulk of the runs. The hunks from Delhi notched up their tons in style, as they simply toyed with the helpless Sri Lankan bowling. Wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha too chipped in with a valuable half century.

 

The icing on the cake for the Indians was the twin strikes, as both the Sri Lankan openers were dismissed without opening their respective accounts. The hosts are surely in dire straits and only a miracle from Kumar Sangakkara can save some grace for them.
