A new angle has been added up to the Eva Carneiro and Jose Mourinho row as Sky Sports claims that the Portuguese manager had apparently became abusive against team doctor Eva Carneiro. According to reports Jose Mourinho was so furious with his doctor’s act that he called the lady as ‘Hija de puta’ which means ‘a slut’ in Spanish.
Mourinho had further said “Para carajo” during his touchline outburst, which can be translated as “for f**k’s sake.”
The tiff began after Chelsea drew their opening game of their title defending campaign against Swansea City last Saturday, 8th August. Chelsea had took the lead twice but conceded both the times.
During the injur time of the match, Eden Hazard had picked up an injury and team doctor Eva Carneiro ran into the field to treat the Belgian star. That left Chelsea left with 9 players on the pitch as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was sent early in the second half.
Post match Jose Mourinho heavily criticised his support staff and accused the medical team. He mentioned that he expected his staff to have an understanding of the game and that they should not have taken the field for a petty issue. He even went forward and suspended Eva Carneiro from sitting on the sidelines during match,
