Third Ashes Test match, WACA, Perth

Australia took a 146-run lead in the third Ashes Test in Perth, as England could only pick up one wicket in the entire day.

Day three of the third Test belonged to Australia completely, and their captain who scored his second double century in Tests, both coming against England. All-rounder, Mitchell Marsh also completed his maiden Test hundred at his home ground.

Shaun Marsh was the only wicket to fall in the day off Moeen Ali. Australia was 549/4 at stumps on day three. Steven Smith was unbeaten on 229, whereas, Mitchell Marsh is playing on 181.
