Bengaluru Bulls trash Dabang Delhi 40-21 in the second match of the day at the Kanterva Stadium, Bengaluru just few moments ago. It was a dominating performance by Bulls who needed to win this match to keep the chances of semi-finals.
Both the teams started playing cautiously not taking any risk Bb lead 4-1 after 7 minutes of the game. In do or die raid Ajay Thakur earned 2 points taking BB to 7 point. In the final raid DD raider was tackled and they were all out giving Bengaluru Bulls a lead of 10-2. Kashiling earned only one point reaching hundredth point for this season. Rohit Chodhary in a do or die raid earned a bonus point. Rajesh Mondal earned 2 touch points in his do or die raid taking BB to a lead of 14-5. Manjit Chillar was tackled in his next raid earning DD their 6th point. Awad was tackled in his raid greeting BB their 15th point.
Kashiling was tackled again. Ajay Thakur was blocked by Ravinder but he escaped taking 2 points. DD was out for the second time taking Bengaluru Bulls to 21-7 lead a few seconds before half time buzzer. Ravinder Pahal earned a bonus point in his raid. Bengaluru Bulls led 22-8 at half time. Dabang Delhi raiders had poor day today compared to BB raiders who had their field day.
After the resumption Kashiling was tackled holding ankle. Dabang Delhi in a do or die raid Rohit earned a bonus point. Ravinder Pahal in a do or die raid was tackled taking Bengaluru Bulls to 24 points. Rajesh Mondal earned 2 points. Ajay Thakur had an empty raid. Kashiling was poorly tackled giving DD their 11th point. In do or die raid Rajesh Mondal earned a point touching Pahal and jumping before he could catch ankle. Manjit Chillar was tackled next to take Dabang Delhi to 12 points. Cheralathan had successful first raid. Rajesh Mondal was tackled in his next raid taking Delhi to 13 points.
In a do or die raid Kashiling was tackled to get Bengaluru Bulls their 28th point. Preetam Chillar in his first raid also earned a touch point. Ajay was tackled holding his ankle getting a point to Dabang Delhi. Preetam again earned a point to take Bengaluru Bulls to 30 points. Rohit Kumar was also pushed out of the court leaving only 3 players and a threat of all out again. Ravinder was shown green card for talking during the raid. Cheralathan got one person out.
Last raider of Delhi Selvamani earned a touch point and Kashiling came in, but in next raid slipped out of defender. Kashiling was tackled in his last raid and DD was all out for the third time taking Bengaluru Bulls to formidable lead of 38-18 two and a half minutes before the final buzzer. Dong Ju Hong was tackled and pushed out of lobby. Kashiling earned a point slipping out of defender. Finally Bengaluru Bulls won and 40-21, keeping hopes of reaching to 4 positions. Dabang Delhi is out of contention of reaching semi-finals.
