Third Ashes Test match, WACA, Perth

Australia took a healthy edge in the third Test as they declared their first innings at 662/9 courtesy 301-run stand between Mitchell Marsha and Steven Smith. Marsh was dismissed on the second ball of the day on his overnight score of 181, while skipper Smith scored 239 runs. Tim Paine scored a helpful unbeaten 49 down the order. James Anderson took four wickets in the innings. England is currently tottering at 132/4 and trail the hosts by 127 runs with Dawid Malan and Jonny Bairstow on the crease at stumps on day four.
India vs Sri Lanka, 3rd ODI, Vizag

India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the third and final ODI of the series in Vizag. India made one change to their squad with Kuldeep Yadav coming in place of Washington Sundar. Sri Lanka also made one change to their side with Sadeera Samarawickrama replacing Lahiru Thirimanne. Upul Tharanga gave the tourists a solid start opening the batting and is currently unbeaten on 75 while Sadeera is batting on 34. Sri Lanka were 129/1 in 21 overs at the time of writing.

PV Sindhu vs Chen Yufei

Indian shuttler PV Sindhu cruised to the final of the Dubai Open Super Series as she defeated Chen Yufei 21-15, 21-18 and the fourth Indian after Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta and Diju V to reach the final of the tournament. Sindhu will face Akane Yamaguchi in the final. Sindhu defeated the Japan Yamaguchi in the group stages 21-9, 21-13. If Sindhu wins the final on Sunday, she will become the first Indian to win the tournament.
