India vs Sri Lanka, 1st T20I, Cuttack

India and Sri Lanka will lock horns in the first T20I at the Barabati stadium in Cuttack on Wednesday. The two teams will play three T20I’s against each other. Sri Lanka will be looking forward to bouncing back having lost both the Test as well as the ODI series on this current tour. India on the other will look to continue their domination over the tourists. India has won all the five series the two teams have played over all three formats in 2017. The match will begin at 7:00 PM IST.

New Zealand vs West Indies, 1st ODI, Whangarei

New Zealand took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series against the Windies as they won the first match by five wickets. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Windies squad was enforced by the presence of hard-hitting batsman Chris Gayle. Windies scored 248/9 in 50 overs. Elton Lewis was the top scorer for the touring side with 76 runs. Rovman Powell scored 59 runs batting down the order. Doug Bracewell was the pick of the bowlers for the Kiwi’s picking up four wickets for 55 runs in eight overs. Todd Astle also picked up three wickets. The hosts had a reasonably easy run chase as the majority of their batsmen got starts. Openers Colin Munro and George Worker shared a 108 runs partnership giving a solid start to the team. Worker was the top scorer for the hosts as he scored 57 runs. Ross Taylor continued his good form as he was unbeaten on 49. Bracewell was adjudged the man of the match.
