T20 cricket is becoming more and more popular with each passing day, and unlike earlier, the format is held in a high esteem and is treated on par with ODI’s.

Earlier it might be noted that only a one-off T20 match was played after a long tour of Tests and ODI’s. However, in the last year, we had seen many teams going on to play full T20I series, and the Men in Blue have been one of the teams who has been busy with their limited-overs schedule.

Team India leggie Yuzvendra Chahal has been the pick of the Indian bowlers in the shortest format of the game and has ended the year with 23 wickets in 11 T20I matches at a staggering average of 14.13.

In the ongoing series against the Lankans, he bagged a couple of four-wicket hauls while he also finished with sensational figures of 6/25 against England early in the year.

Afghan leggie Rashid Khan has been simply exceptional, and with his side due to play their maiden Test against India in 2018, the teenager might go on to become the most important player for the Afghans in the Tests. In ten matches he had bagged 17 wickets at an exceptional average of 9.41 and a staggering economy rate of fewer than five runs per over.

Kesrick Williams of the Windies is 4th on the list with 17 wickets in nine matches. The medium pacer finished with an impressive average of 12.88 and an economy rate of fewer than seven runs per over. Leg-spinners own the 4th and the 5th positions. While Shadab Khan of Pakistan holds the 4th spot with 14 wickets, Proteas attacking spinner Imran Tahir is 5th on the list with the same number of dismissals.
