New Zealand are set to host Sri Lanka, Pakistan and neighbors Australia for their home summer beginning from December 2015. The ICC confirmed the scheduling of the tours in a statement and finalized the tour itineraries for the respective series’.
The home season for the Blackcaps begins from the 10th of December, as Sri Lanka tour them for 2 tests, 5 ODI’s and 2 T20I’s. The Sri Lankan tour will last from the 10th of December till the 10th of January. Post Sri Lanka, it will be Pakistan’s turn to tour New Zealand for a limited overs series. The T20I series against Pakistan will commence from the 15th of January. The Pakistan series involves 3 T20I’s and 3 ODI’s. The tour against Pakistan will end on the 31st of January.
Finally, arch rivals Australia will tour the Kiwis for a full fledged tour, their first since early 2010. The series against Australia will involve 2 tests and 3 ODI’s. The ODI’s will be played on the 3rd, 6th and 8th of February. While the first test will begin from the 12th of February, the second will be played from the 20th of February.
