Rafael Nadal suffered a shock exit after being two sets up in the third round match against the Italian Fabio Fognini. Fabio Fognini staged a miraculous comeback by winning the last three sets and ended up beating the Spaniard 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4.
This is the first time Nadal has lost a five-setter match in grand slam events after taking the first two sets.
