India won the third and final Test of the series by 63 runs at the Wanderers in Johannesburg. South Africa started day four at 17/1 chasing 240 in the fourth innings. Dean Elgar and Hashim Amla started strongly and were involved in a 119 runs partnership. However, the Indian bowlers had different ideas as Ishant Sharma removed Amla on 52. None of the South African batsman consolidated after that as De Villiers and Faf Du Plessis were also removed on 6 and 2 respectively. Dean Elgar remained unbeaten on 86. Mohammed Shami took five wickets in 12.3 overs as South Africa was all-out for 177. South Africa won the series 2-1.

New Zealand vs Pakistan, Mount Maunganui, 3rd T20

Pakistan won the third T20 by 18 runs and won the series 2-1, with this win Pakistan became the number one ranked side in T20 internationals. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. Fakhar Zaman top scored for the tourists with 46 runs. A late burst by Umar Amin took the score to 181/6 in 20 overs. Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each. New Zealand could only score 163/6 in their quota of 20 overs. Martin Guptill top scored with 59 runs. Ross Taylor and Mitchell Santner were involved in a 39 runs partnership for the sixth wicket. Shadab Khan was the pick of the bowlers for the Pakistan side with two wickets.

Australia vs England, 5th ODI, Perth

Australia restricted England for 259 runs in the 47.4 overs. Australia won the toss and chose to field first in the fifth ODI. England started well as their openers Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow were involved in 71 runs partnership. Joe Root top scored for the tourists with 62 runs. For Australia, Andrew Tye was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up five wickets giving away 46 runs in 9.4 overs. Australia was 228/8 in 44.4 overs at the time of writing.

Roger Federer vs Marin Cilic

Roger Federer won the first set with ease winning it 6-2. However, the Croatian struck back in the second set winning the set in a tiebreaker 7-6. Federer again went into cruise control mode as he won the third set 6-3. Cilic won the fourth set 6-3.
