Wayne Rooney became England’s all-time top scorer as he scored his 50th international goal against Switzerland. The Manchester United and England captain surpassed Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 49 goals in the process. England beat Switzerland 2-0 last night in a Euro 2016 qualifier match. Tottenham Hotspur striker scored the opening goal of the match followed by Rooney’s penalty goal.
