Liverpool fans are now in frustration and the center of their frustration is Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers on whom fans have started losing faith.
After a dismal last season, most of the Liverpool lost their trust in the Northern Irishman and it grow even bigger when Liverpool finished the season with a humiliating 6-1 loss to Stoke City on the final day of the season.
But to every fan’s surprise, the owners Fenway Sports Group kept their faith in Rodgers. The Reds started the season in a mix fashion with just 7 points from five games.
They won their first two games unconvincingly but drawn the third and lost the last two. The most recent loss was to arch rivals Manchester United who thrashed them 3-1 at Old Trafford yesterday.
The hosts started without a striker due to Wayne Rooney’s injury but still won the game 3-1 and the patience among Liverpool fans is now running thin as they are furious with the manager who played the game on with negative tactics.
They reacted on Twitter to urge Fenway Sports Group to sack Rodgers and bring former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp who is a Kop favorite.
Another manager who fans want is Carlo Ancelotti if they fail to land Klopp.
They wanted the German inspirational manager for a long time and Klopp also reportedly wants to take charge at Anfield.
He is now on a sabbatical after leaving the managerial role at Signal Iduna Park and it is believed that few weeks ago he said that he is willing to train a team who is not in Champions League which seems to be his signal of willingness to manage Liverpool.
Here are some Tweets from Liverpool and wanting Jurgen Klopp or Carlo Ancelotti to Anfield:
