Australia won the Trans-Tasman Tri series as they defeated New Zealand by 19 runs via D/L method. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first. Lionel Messi scored of the first time in eight matches against English champions Chelsea to the give the Spanish giants Barcelona the advantage as they drew the match 1-1 at the Stamford Bridge. Star of the match for Chelsea, Willian broke the deadlock in the 63nd minute after hitting the post twice in the first half.
Argentine Lionel Messi then took advantage of a defensive error by Chelsea and scored in the 75th minute. The second leg will be played on 14th March.
Bayern Munich vs Besiktas
Bayern Munich strolled past the Turkey side Besiktas as they won the match 5-0. Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller scored a brace each. Kingsley Coman also added one to the teams tally.
