India completed a 2-1 series win in the three-match T20 series after they won the third match in Newlands by seven runs. South Africa won the toss and chose to bowl first. India posted a respectable total of 172/7 in their quota of 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina were the main contributors with the bat as they scored 47 and 43 respectively. Junior Dala picked up three wickets for the hosts.
South Africa could only manage 165/6 in their 20 overs. Skipper JP Duminy top-scored for the hosts with 55 runs. Debutant Christiaan Jonker was the star for the Proteas as he scored a 24 ball 49 runs to take his team close to the target. Suresh Raina was adjudged the man of the match.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was adjudged the man of the series.
New Zealand vs England, 1st ODI, Hamilton
Hosts New Zealand defeated England in a last over thriller as they chased down a target of 285 and won the match by three wickets. New Zealand won the toss and chose to field first. England posted 284/8 with Joe Root scoring 71 and opener Jason Roy playing a handy knock of 49. However, the top scorer for the tourists was wicket-keeper Jos Buttler who scored 79 runs. Trent Boult, Mitchell Santner, and Ish Sodhi picked up two wickets each.
For hosts, middle order batsmen Ross Taylor and Tom Latham shared a 178 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Latham was dismissed on 79 while Taylor scored his 18th ODI century and guided his team towards victory. All-rounder, Mitchell Santner played a match-winning cameo of 45 runs off 27 balls to win the match for the black caps. Ross Taylor was adjudged the man of the match.

Top seed Elina Svitolina defeated unseeded Darya Kasatkina 6-4, 6-0 to retain the Dubai Championships title.
