Anirban Lahiri | Jeev Milka Singh | PGA Tour | Shiv Kapur

At the end of round 3 of Small business Connection Championship, second of four such events India’s Anirban Lahiri shared 20th position with two others. He thus ensured his immediate goal of securing a PGA Tour card for 2016. In Open D’Italia at the end of penultimate round Jeev Milka Singh shared 16th position, Shiv Kapur slipped a bit and Chowrasia also had a good time on Saturday the 19 September 2015 in Milan.

Anirban Lahiri played a steady round of two under 70 and coasted into the weekend rounds of the Small business Connection Championship. At the end of the third round, his score was 207 with 72, 67 and 70 in first three rounds respectively. The leaders Emiliano Grillo and Eric Axley had a cumulative score of 202 each. In a joint 2nd position, there were 2 players with a score of 204 and joint third position with 206 scores there were 4 players. Eight players shared a score of 207; three players each shared the score of 208 and three more including Anirban Lahiri shared the score of 209.

Jeev Milkha Singh carded four-under 68 to move to tied-16 at the end of the third round of Open D’Italia golf here on Saturday. He has been struggling with his form of late, has now shot three straight rounds in the 60s with 68, 69 and 68 to be 11-under.  Jeev had a bogey on fifth, but thereafter he was flawless with birdies on seventh and ninth and added another birdie on 12th before finding an eagle on 14th. He moved up to tied 16th after being 25th overnight.  Kapur had four birdies and two bogeys, one of them on the 18th.  SSP Chawrasia parred each of the first 13 holes, before he birdied the 14th, bogeyed the 15th, eagled the 16th and bogeyed the 18th.

Milan tournament saw Martin Kaymer firing a brilliant 65 to move into a share the lead with joint-leaders Jens Fahrbring and Romain Wattel ahead of the final round. Fahrbring dropped a shot on the last to sign for a 68 and slipped back alongside Kaymer and Wattel, who recorded a 66 on Saturday.
