After a miserable spell, Liverpool finally registered a win as they defeated Aston Villa 3-2.
Under fire manager, Brendan Rodgers will be relieved after the win. Liverpool dominated the whole game and the 2 goals from Villa were also against the run of play. While Rodgers will have to look to fix his defensive woes.
James Milner, the man with the armband, gave Liverpool a very early lead. Daniel Sturridge scored a brace after returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Rudi Gestede scored twice for Villa to give the Liverpool fans some concerns.
Twitter reacted on the win of Liverpool. Here are some tweets-
Sturridge is ridiculously good. Would have loved him to get a hattrick.

Right. So we’ve won a game. After what seems like ages. Sturridge in form finally. Rodgers needed this. We needed this. Thank you @LFC

Our attack has woken up but defensively we’re still a shambles.
