Defending champions Chelsea FC manage to secure just a point from St. James’ park as Ramires and Willian score to late goals to deny Newcastle United full three points.

Ayoze Perez gave Newcastle the lead in the first half as he volleyed a goal past Asmir Begovic. The Chelsea backline at that point of time completely collapsed in front of a desperate Newcastle attack.

Just when Chelsea were slowly coming back into the match, Giorgio Wijnaldum doubled the lead from a powerfull header. The match was slowly going out of the Blues’ hand.

But thanks to Eden Hazard who created a wonderful chance for Ramires, the Brazilian scored a screamer to restore one goal.

The equaliser was scored by another Brazilian Willian within 5 minutes when his free-kick straight went inside the goal. 

As Newcastle United remain winless at the rock bottom position in the league table and Chelsea at 15 th poistion, fans around the world bashed the Blues for yet another pathetic performance.
