Mohammed Shami, Hasin Jahan
Hasin Jahan had recently met Delhi Daredevils CEO and had requested him to bar Mohammed Shami from IPL 2018.

It seems like Hasin Jahan, estranged wife of India pacer Mohammed Shami, is in no mood to let her husband catch a breather.

Shami is going through a tough time since being accused of having an extra-marital affair and domestic violence by his wife. Not only but that she had also accused him of being involved in match-fixing.

As a result of the accusations, the BCCI had withheld Shami’s central contract. However, the board later cleared the pacer and handed him his contract.

But despite the case seemingly going in favour of Shami, Jahan is trying her level best to make things tough for her husband. She now sought help from Shami’s Indian Premier League (IPL) employers Delhi Daredevils.

Mrs Shami has requested the franchise to bar the pacer from playing in the upcoming season of the league.

Jahan met the Delhi franchise’s CEO, Hemant Dua, recently in an attempt to roadblock Shami’s career.

“I kept my point in front of Hemant sir to not keep Shami in the IPL team until he resolves his family feud,” Jahan told ANI.

Jahan had also sought BCCI’s help in the past.

“Hasin Jahan met me with a request that BCCI should look into the matter,” the board’s acting president CK Khanna had told ANI.

“I told her that it was their personal affair which should be settled within the family. It would be in the best interest of all, including Shami, because he is in the Indian team and we would like him to perform well in the IPL and forthcoming England series,” Khanna added.
